Programs

Students:
Positive School Wide Program - A new program that promotes positive attitudes. The students do nice things for others and get rewarded. The teacher handle the nominations. There can be as many as 40 students per week that get to enjoy a little down time in the special "Cafe" that includes a Wii.
Certificate of Merit - Teachers and administrators hand out Certificates of Merit to deserving students. A student may earn a certificate for making an excellent test grade, improving a grade, participation in class or for any other reason a teacher deems appropriate. Students place their certificates in the merit box in the office. These students will then be rewarded monthly with treats given out during lunch.
Success cards - Success cards are distributed after each nine week grading period. The students' grade determines the color of the card. A gold card is awarded to students with all A's and a 4 or higher in attitude. A green card is awarded to students with any combination of A's and B's with a 4 or higher in attitude. Cards are also awarded to students that teachers feel are succeeding at their level and grades do not apply. These cards entitle the students to receive free food and beverages from local merchants.
STUDENT AWARDS - This program is not academic based. It is for all students. Teachers And recognize students who stand out for achievements other than grades. One student per quarter per teacher.
